Last night in Dubai was all about another Jamrock party…this time it went down at Sublime Lounge. Place was packed and the vibe was great. Thanks to everyone at F.A.M.E for the great events. Look forward to coming back soon.

Needed to hit the mall again today to pick up some stuff…only packed for 6 days + now I’m staying an extra 4 days…love this mall…it has everything…even a watch that i’d wear (sadly it cost’s $140,000).

Wednesday night was all about Karl Wolf’s birthday party inside Allegra (hosted by Dany Neville).  Great vibe + real nice club.

Tuesday was one of those days to grind on music, sort, organize, tag and edit. Ended up in the hotel room for most of the day. Met up with some friends at night and had dinner + watched the Real Madrid + Bayern Munich Champions League semi-final match. Big night tomorrow.

So Starting From Scratch had to leave to go back to Toronto this morning so I am now here alone on tour until Thursday.  Monday was a bit of a relaxation day…well needed after working lots, seeing lots, and staying up till 6am almost everyday (did I mention waking up at like 9-10 am too?).  Decided to go see Atlantis The Palm and then head back to Dubai Mall to do some shopping…this time not because my luggage was lost, but just for fun.  Saw the amazing outdoor water fountains and buildings…including the Burj Khalifa (the world’s tallest building)…also saw a Ferarri, yet more Range Rovers, more hot designer shoes from Christian Louboutin, some 50,000 watches, $4,500 pair of Louis Vuitton shoes, and lots, lots, more.

Sunday was all about trying to check out something special that Dubai has to offer so we decided to go on a desert safari. Was so much fun…watched a belly dancer, did some crazy riding over the sand dunes, rode a camel, sand surfed + DIDN’T EVEN FALL! After that we went by the F.A.M.E. offices to vist and so Scratch could say goodbye before he left in the morning. Finally we went to check out club Zinc for a chill laid-back hip-hop night…had some drinks (+ I drank WAY TOO MUCH…yup 3!), then went out for some local food. Thanks to Dany Nevile, Dj Crown Prince, Dj BrooklynE, Tazrin, + Karl Wolf for sending off Scratch in style. Don’t worry i’m sure he will be back soon (as will I).

Saturday was so much fun. We were lucky enough to be able to do a guest mix on Dany Neville’s ‘The Edge’ show on Radio 1. S/O to Emtee Pockets + Sheena (from Radio 1) for coming by. After that we were off to dj at the world famous Armani club ‘Prive’. This place is unbelievable. We got there just after 12 and the line up outside was insane. Tables were overbooked…not by 1, but by 20. Inside was packed and everyone was there to party + have a great time. S/0 to Dj Brooklyn for holding down the vibes inside with us…very talented dj that can do it all. We ended up playing for an extra hour more than we were schedule to and closed off the night. Thanks to everyone at F.A.M.E. + Armani for taking such good care of us…we can’t wait to come back soon for part 2.
