DJ Whitegold

Rightly named one of Canada’s most versatile and talented DJs, DJ Whitegold has been rocking crowds from young to old for over 25 years.

The Who’s Who
Whitegold’s reputation has led to many prominent appearances in Toronto, London, and New York clubs, as well as many tours across Canada in cities such as Montreal, Calgary and Edmonton.  He has also completed many successful international tours of Europe and Dubai including a prominent appearance inside the Burj Khalifa’s club Armani/Prive.

He has worked with some of Canada’s most successful concert promoters and has performed alongside acclaimed artists such as: Lady Gaga, Ciara, Ludacris, Nas, 112 and Sean Paul, just to name a few.

DJ Whitegold has enjoyed success in clubs as well as on radio in Canada.  In 2011 he was recruited by 91.5 The Beat to be one of four mixshow djs to take over the number one rated Saturday night show CLUB 9-1-5; Whitegold’s first CLUB 9-1-5 show aired in June 2011 and continued for 10 years before retiring from the radio airwaves to focus on a new opportunity streaming on Twitch.

Twitch Streaming
During the pandemic Dj Whitegold began streaming on twitch.tv/djwhitegold.  Twitch is a popular live streaming platform that allows content creators, known as streamers, to broadcast themselves live over the internet.  Dj Whitegold was the second Canadian Dj to earn Partner status with Twitch and his streams have been viewed by hundreds of thousands of people all over the world.  His fans tune in weekly to watch diverse shows sharing many genres such as 80’s, Old School, and House.

The Recognition
Proving that true talent does not go unrecognized, DJ Whitegold’s peers and music industry professionals recognized him with back-to-back Stylus DJ Awards for Central DJ of the Year (he became the first dj to ever win that same award back-to-back in 2010 and 2011). These monumental awards are recognition of Whitegold’s excellence and dedication; placing him on top amongst Canada’s elite djs.

DJ Whitegold’s Twitch success has led to several Twitch TV nominations and awards including 2021 ‘Humanitarian Of The Year’ and the 2022 ‘Best Philanthropic Stream’ for his work with Make-A-Wish.  Whitegold is currently nominated for two 2023 Twitch TV Awards; ‘Favorite Canadian Streamer’ and ‘Best Philanthropic Stream’.

Philanthropy and Giving Back
Beyond the decks and the studio, DJ WhiteGold is a philanthropist at heart. He’s involved in numerous charitable initiatives, using his influence to make a positive impact on society. From supporting programs like ‘Breaking Down Racial Barriers’, which aims to achieve equity in the music and creative industries, to championing fundraising for Make-A-Wish (an organization that helped His family in 2018), he’s committed to making the world a better place through his art and actions.
